It looks like we're in a hold pattern until more results come in tomorrow around lunch time. Check back with all of us then!
Dammit.
In Georgia's November election, 4,999,960 votes were cast in the presidential race. The runoff vote count is currently ~4,297,000 with more than 99% of the votes counted.
Decision Desk HQ calls it for Warnock over Loeffler after the big (expected) Dem-heavy DeKalb County vote dump. But Perdue ain't cooked yet, as he's clinging to a tiny lead.
Why did Dekalb County stop counting their ballots at 37 percent when everyone else was pretty much done? What's with this stop-and-go nonsense from Democratic bastions? And people wonder why these elections are questioned re voter fraud and integrity. Totally warranted
This is just ONE state. It's ONE runoff...and we can't get the outstanding ballot totals right because people can't read numbers and election workers calling it quits early re counting the ballots ...we're not going to know the winner tonight. Disgrace.
It happened in 1960 in Cook County. It happened in 2020. It's happening in 2021. Liberal bastions taking their sweet ass time and having massive voter dumps that only benefit Democrats. I mean, totally fine, right?
But around lunchtime tomorrow is about when the electoral college certification debate begins!! Can never have nice things.
This election cycle has been so weird. Election officials suddenly stop counting. I'd love to know how those decisions are made.
We're not going to know the final results until ... LUNCHTIME tomorrow
Gabriel Sterling is optimistic about that estimate
