Greg Scandlen of Waynesboro, PA, is retired from a 35-year career in health policy, during which he worked for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, the Cato Institute, the National Center for Policy Analysis, and the Heartland Institute, He also founded two non-profit advocacy organizations, The Council for Affordable Health Insurance, and Consumers for Health Care Choices. He is the author of “Myth Busters: How Health Reform Always Goes Awry,” published in 2017. He is a widely published researcher and analyst, has frequently testified before Congress and state legislative committees, and averaged some 50 speeches a year throughout his career.
